Research & Development
Allied Research International (ARI) is committed to ongoing EEC research and development in order to meet current and emerging sponsor research needs. We have invested significant resources in the development of new, innovative EEC facilities and technologies to drive efficiencies in the clinical research process. The end result for our sponsors is the high quality data and outcomes required for drug approval. Please contact us to discuss strategies associated with your drug and development program.
The R&D team at Allied Research International is lead by Dr. Anne Marie Salapatek, who has over 20 years of research experience with a broad spectrum of research expertise from basic to integrated clinical research. The R&D team is involved in the entire EEC development process from design to validation. As a result, our chambers accommodate all aspects of clinical trial design following scientifically rigorous and sound research practices.
The R&D team can also work with you to plan and write strategic scientific publications in key authoritative and well recognized journals which maximize the impact of your research outcomes by reaching identified target audiences and markets.
Activities & Achievements
EEC Study Design Evaluation
Innovative EEC Designs
- Tree pollen EEC. ARI has expanded its EEC offerings to include a new EEC for the study of tree pollen allergy. The new chamber has undergone rigorous validation exercises according to a pre-approved protocol and standard operating procedures. Validation of any EEC test system is an important step to ensure reproducibility and the high precision of measurements obtained in studies performed in this setting.
- Dust Mite Allergen EEC
- Cat Dander Allergen EEC
- Dry Eye EEC
- Non-allergic chemical irritant EEC
Development of Unique EEC Study Outcome Indicators
- EEC-specific Rhinoconjunctivitis Quality of Life Questionnaire (EEC-RQOLQ). ARI has developed a unique EEC-RQOLQ questionnaire, the first instrument of its kind to be developed for assessment of qualify of life in an EEC setting
Development of Unique EEC Study Outcome Indicators
- EEC-specific Rhinoconjunctivitis Quality of Life Questionnaire (RQLQ). ARI has developed a unique RQLQ questionnaire, the first instrument of its kind to be developed for assessment of RQLQ in an EEC setting.
