Miami Phase I-IIa Unit

ARI’s Miami facility has been carefully designed to allow maximum flexibility. The first 120 beds are available within a 12,000 sq ft area (1,114 sq m). The bedrooms are placed in a U-shape formation, surrounding the central monitoring and processing center. The common and study areas are strategically located, which allows study participants to be segregated, if required. For more intensive/invasive studies, a 17-bed IOU is situated on the main floor

Aside from the ability to conduct Phase I-IIa studies, the Miami facility is also capable in conducting cardiac safety studies, such as thorough QT studies. Our site can accommodate 25 hospital beds within an isolated unit. The unit is equipped with intensive monitoring equipment for vital signs and safety ECGs. ARI owns 40 GE MAC 1200 ECG monitors enabling us to use our own equipment for cardiac safety studies, potentially eliminating the rental cost.
